Spyware and the Autosurf craze October 22, 2006 |
| Hi Hi Guys.. Here's a quick Table of Contents 1 - Spyware reminder 2 - AutoSurfing 3 - Web Hosting
Spyware reminder A couple of facts you should be aware of regarding Spyware. Of the many software programs out there, there are no 2 alike regarding the spyware and trojans they are able to remove successfully. So the inclination is to use several programs. You can use one or two of the free programs available, but you really need one that you pay for. Believe me, they are much more powerful. It really is true that "you get what you pay for". The dilemma is that these pay programs have serious problems tolerating each other. In other words, they can't co-exist. What happens is this. My Norton Protection System from Symantec was disabled, and totalled crippled by 2 others that I tested this past week. I tried AVG, as it was supposed to be able to get rid of Goldun trojans, but could not. All it did was kill my Norton by turning off the protection, presumably to use only it's own. The program that finally got rid of Goldun is this CounterSpy. You can get it here on sale , for this Halloween promotion. --------------------------------------------------------
AutoSurfing Late last year I played with it a bit, as I thought it wouldbring some extra traffic to membership site I was recommending. By year's end, I lost a few hundred dollars when StormPay had a seizure and shot themselves in the foot by attacking their bread and butter, the autosurf guys. Autosurf sites drop like flies. Every week, if not every day there are bankruptcies. So don't be misled by the appeal of12% or more that you can earn daily. They don't have enough income to survive, so they too often use new upgrades to pay for the older ones. The 12% a day that they offer is also untrue. It is clearly stipulated that the money you give is not regarded as capital. You lose it immediately. You get it back only by surfing the required sites every day. So you see, the 12% or more includes your own money. AVOID THEM at all costs! It's a huge risk even for the gamblers among us. P.S. Do you know that this is the most dangerous place for spyare. You get lots of it from irresponsible people who have it on their web pages that you must surf. You can get it just be accessing their sites. So really, is it worth this risk? ---------------------------------------------------
Web Hosting Web hosting is a good example of what I'm talking about. Site Build It! is back with their Halloween special. One web site normally costs $299 USD for one year, but for only $100 extra, you can have a 2nd site for a full year. This is such a popular and successful promotion, that SBI now has these sales several times a year. Check it out right here at SBI The SBI sale is over at midnight Oct 31st, 2006. ------------------------------------------------------ I hope I haven't forgotten too much, but I must send this out now. Musn't lose another day, or you'll be upset with me. Have a great week. Fred Farah
