Niche Madness
How You Can Cash In On Smaller Affiliate Markets And Make More Money Selling Less!
Frank Kern is doing it. Phil Wiley is doing it. Jimmy Brown is doing it in a
really big way.
What are these world famous Internet marketers doing, you ask?
They're making money hand over fist by using the hottest strategy in Internet marketing history: Niche Madness is Niche Marketing on fire!
For anyone out there who isn't familiar with the term, a niche (pronounced neesh) is defined as a "special area of demand for a product or service."
By that definition, Internet marketing is most certainly a niche. And in it's earliest days many people made fast fortunes. However, as you've surely noticed, the Internet marketing arena has become so incredibly saturated that it's virtually impossible for a newcomer to profit. Confused? Don't be.
There is still plenty of opportunity for anyone who wants to profit. The trick is (and it's not "magic") to find a market that: a) Is easily defined and reachable, b) Is small enough
to keep competition limited, but large enough to profit from, c) Has money and is willing to spend it, and so very, very important ...
d) Is Passionate about the subject you are focusing on (gardeners, cooks, golfers,
bodybuilders, weight watchers, pet lovers, craftspeople, car buffs, collectors, etc.)
While it is still possible to make money as an affiliate for Internet marketing products
and services, a more effective and even easier way to profit is to partner with web
businesses which are selling non-competing products that people are looking to spend
money on. Makes sense, doesn't it?
If you're going to put up a web site of your own, there are basically two ways to go –
1) The limited page "mini site" or 2) The multi-page content rich site. Each has its advantages – and fans.
Phil Wiley, author of "Mini Site Profits" is a long time niche marketer and advocate of the "mini site" approach – get `em up, move `em out, rake in the profits fast! Phil would be the first to tell you that niche marketing isn't new – it's just that people are finally waking up and realizing its potential.
Frank Kern moved away from teaching and selling in the overcrowded Internet Marketing battlefield to doing his own private niche mini sites – you can see his parrot site up and running at:

Frank has packaged the
details of his niche approach in his very pricey "Underachiever System," which you can read all about at

Launching a content rich website is another way to approach things. Though it takes
longer to build, you get the benefit of large amounts of free traffic. Say for example, you target owners of Golden Retrievers. You could also provide information about other large breeds, dog training, toys, beds, foods, preventing fleas and so on.
Of course, you always have the option of doing your affiliate marketing without a
website. There are dozens of niche marketing opportunities provided on sites like:
Commission Junction
Affiliate Guide
Associate Programs
Affiliate Match
Affiliate Search
Whatever road you choose to travel, keep in mind that it's never as easy as the so
called "gurus" try to make it sound. It's not just knowing how to find a high demand
product and a hungry market. You also need to have sales worthy copy, an enticing
incentive (free report, ebook, etc.), search engine optimization and traffic generating skills.
And, don't forget, if you decide to go with a ready made niche package, other people
– maybe many, many others -- will be using the very same materials. So, unless you
want to be left in another marketer's dust, you're going to have make the effort to customize those items and give your prospects good reason to want to hand over their money to you.
Bottom line: From golf to gardening to headaches to home schooling, niche business
on the Internet offers unlimited income potential. It is definitely possible to market your way to a fortune -- just don't think it will happen without serious time and effort.
